Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction, which used to be referred to as sexual impotence, has been linked to tobacco use.

Although the connection between tobacco use and some of its health consequences, such as lung cancer or cataracts, have become public knowledge, somehow the connection between smoking and erectile dysfunction has managed to escape becoming common knowledge. One could imagine that this connection could continue to be "overlooked", especially since the sufferer of erectile dysfunction will usually keep it a closely guarded secret.

eng9t.jpg (6K)Smoking could continue to hide behind this mask and science might then take another three hundred hears to explain the phenomenon of erectile dysfunction. However, there is already enough scientific evidence to reveal the fallacy and to stop using the words erectile dysfunction, when what we are actually referring to is smoking and its effects on a huge number of men in our society.
