Workshop Objectives: At the completion of the course, attendees will

  • understand the role of spirometry as an objective measurement of lung disease;
  • describe spirometry testing, terms and measurements;
  • describe the criteria for test acceptability and repeatability; and
  • gain confidence in the interpretation of spirometry.

1415-1730      Chest X-Ray Interpretation Workshop

Workshop Objectives: At the completion of the course, attendees will

  • Identify anatomic landmarks relevant to chest x-ray interpretation;
  • Recognize a normal chest x-ray;
  • Describe radiologic changes found in pulmonary disorders commonly seen in primary care;
  • Correlate patient presentation with radiographic findings.
