About Us

The Lung Association of Saskatchewan is contracted by SAIL (Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living) to provide education, information and resources for health professionals and clients throughout Saskatchewan. The Lung Association also manages the overnight oximetry program for the province to determine the client's need for oxygen during sleep.

Overnight oximeters must be ordered by the physician and the results are faxed to the ordering physician.

Home Oxygen Workshops are offered in Spring and Fall each year in specific areas for a minimum of eight testers. This is for certification or re-certification. Re-certification is recommended every two years and can be done in person or online.

The Lung Association's Home Respiratory Therapy Coordinator is available to answer specific questions or concerns about the SAIL Home Oxygen Program.
